While I have been neglecting updating this page, it has only been due to my being stupidly busy this month. Between my projects and getting everything ready for Faerieworlds I have been swamped A simply truth on parenthood 07/07/2009
People often ask me how I can work with children all the time. They look at me like I am on crack when I tell them I enjoy working with kids, it is their parents I normally want to bean in the head with a blunt object. Today my mother sent me a email I think that sums it up. Parenthood in the animal kingdomand finally...See the truth hurts Faerie Worlds has moved due to size 06/30/2009
Greetings Friends, In response to unprecedented advance ticket sales, we are happy to announce that Faerieworlds has sold out Secret House and will now take place at Mount Pisgah in the beautiful Buford Park Recreation Area, just outside of Eugene, OR. The events dates remain the same, July 31st, through August 2nd. With over a month from opening the gates to the Realm, our ticket sales had already exceeded the capacity at Secret House. In an effort to provide the best possible experience for our guests, we moved quickly to secure this much larger site that can accommodate what is sure to be record-breaking attendance. This year more than ever, Faerieworlds is the place to be for people and families who love, music, crafts, art, and faeries: this is the Faerieworlds experience that our guests and vendors have been asking for! We survived the futurefest 06/29/2009
We went, we saw, we drove home tired. To all the people who got glitter tattoos from me, Thank you :D for all the people who we met, Yay. Overall an awesome party, but a bit pricey at the door, at 60.00 bucks at the gate. Adventures to NC (FaerieLand or bust 2009) 06/22/2009
![]() I need to learn to trvel by turtle It was a grand adventure, to, at and from the NC fairy festival, from peach cider of abbots farm, (with their bathroom stalls filled with love) large rocking chairs in the middle of nowhere, a stone Yoda hiding with normal gargoyles and fae folk mingling with the human folk. We had enough fun, I would do it again, though I really need to learn to poof to places because these drives are really starting to where me out. today I have found glogster 06/17/2009
do you like to blog? do you like scrap booking or maybe making posters? then you will love this site. I found it and played with it, found it fun, but i am easy to amuse. Below is an example of what I made. I scaled it 50 percent to fit the blog page but over all pretty entertaining. We have returned home, tired, dirty, and sick from the shrimpree. It was an ordeal, and most likely we will not be going again. The wind blew dirt and sand continually causing damage to my fiber arts. Their Juried art show, had the same 3 products (all manufactured by the same company) Handbags, bling jewelry, and bling-ish shirts...over and over again in 2/3rds of the booths. We met some really nice paeople, like Pop's jerky, mom's paintbox, and the lady that sells the water cannons at seaworld in San Antonio, tx, but there was more nasty mean spirted people that just made the event misirable over all. Sometimes, sadly due to things...we have to cancel a show. In this case, we pulled out of the Ny Faerie festival. We had several reasons for doing such, including slow response time from them, cost of the event compared to profit coming in from it. ![]() plans for perment Booth 06/08/2009
